Branding

This is a hot iron branding service to any cowhide product (EXCLUDING JEWELLERY.) Individual number/letter height is approximately 25mm.

What you need to include:

• Add each individual Number/letter to cart.
• Add in notes the order of the numbers/letters.
• Add in notes which item you want branded if you have multiple cowhide products in cart.
• Add in notes where you would like the branding to be, if you do not specify, I will add it where I think is best. Please note some items may not have a choice where branding can be put (this will be specified in the products description.)
• One letter/number added to cart is only one branding service. EXAMPLE: you choose "ABC" to be branded on 2 separate products you will need to add x2 "A" x2 "B" x2 "C" into cart.

Placement choices are:

• FRONT left, FRONT right, FRONT center. 
• CENTER left, CENTER right, CENTER.
• BACK left, BACK right, BACK center.

Some smaller items may be limited as to how may characters that can fit onto the piece and placement. please check the description on the product as it will indicate if it has a limit or set placement.

Branding is all done by free hand so it may not always be perfect, but I insure I will do my best to get it as level and even as possible. Branding is not very visible on "Black" or very very "Dark Brown" cowhide so I recommend not to Brand in those areas but if you request to have it branded in that area I will do so.

You may experience "flaking" on the brand. This is a layer of burnt skin/hair that sometimes flakes off. I try my best to avoid this outcome as much as possible. I brand every letter/number twice to get deep into the hide and put a thin layer of finish over the brand itself. This is why my branding services may be more expensive than others.

Hot iron branding does have an unpleasant strong smell as it is burning the hairs on hide. This smell will eventually become less potent over time.
